Earth's plates, working for you
In the far north, damage is small
In human hell-hole, buildings fall
In Haiti, they just shot their president
Seems ordered by American resident
And, crappy buildings not built to last
In a big quake, they fall down..fast
Quake just happened, no death toll yet
Will be high, that you can bet
But, the aid they need, still contraception
Instead of twisted papal-voodoo perception
Soon, help coming Haiti's way
Trop Storm Grace will wash mess away
Cousin Fred heads into Gulf to get strong
As Flow-rita's gov, claims nothing wrong
Another 238 just couldn't wait
To die in the sunshine state
Texass, too, still killing 'em dead
Yesterday, another 1,089 on you, Punk'n Head
In Va, heat, humidity, storms still rage
But, we're about to turn that page
Cold Front, headed our way
To wash the muggies, briefly away
But, still rain forecast & then Fred
Could be wishing for hot & dry instead
Between clouds & muggies, no meteors
Instead, in evening, I stayed indoors
Time for me to brave the muggies
Try not to be eaten by the buggies
Nasty out on the world right now
Looks nice, but step out & WOW
Glasses fog, heat smack you in the face
Squirrel & dog, about to be a race
Stay safe, be smart
Wear a mask & stay apart
