Sally With Big Rain Tally

Sally finally came ashore
Cat. 2, wind at 100 or more
Rain & surge measured in feet
Planet with another downward beat
Long as we keep CO2 a'pumping
Storms & droughts will keep dumping
You can deny & you can pray
You can shrug & look away
You can ignore the reality today
But, rapid change is coming our way
What if we get more earthquakes
What if Yellowstone volcano wakes
How will we handle a big solar storm
Ain't no app for return to norm
This is normal, this is Earth
Doesn't care if we over-birth
Hot rises, cold sinks: convection
All changes thru Natural Selection
Air, water & rock do not care
What we humans do out there
If a virus is allowed to spread
Will be lots of folks dead
Back over 1,000 again yesterday
Crying hoax won't make it go away
I'll bet: more deaths from one prez rally
Than we will see from Hurricane Sally
50 degrees our morning low
Maybe to 70 it will go
High pressure should make sky blue
'Cept for smoke rolling thru
Likely some clouds from Sally, too
You mean, we're connected, who knew?
Quakes, still not many & mostly weak
Sun, no spots, still looking meek
Near equinoxes, auroras uptick
Way up north, "whoa, that's sick"
Earth is still so very cool
If we would follow the change rule
Don't adapt & have fewer kids
Then Earth will apply the lids
Migrate, lots of that going on
Ruin you home, just move along
Where will burnt out folks go
Will have a hand out, that we know
How far each day did you commute?
How much did you car pollute?
Lot of crying, whining & fuss
But, we're the problem, it is us!!
Today On Earth
