Pretty typical day to end January
Cool & cloudy, ya know, li'l dreary
But, I wanna know what's going on
W/ all this li'l quakes hummin' along
Over 2 dozen off Puerto Rico today
On Big Island, guessing lava's at play
Is that what's going on off Puerto Rico?
Just sent email to someone in the know..
Sun still blasting away, near miss here?
Maybe auroras up north, if skies clear
Outside, pale sun trying to burn thru
Clipper miss us, the rain, we'll eschew
Could use some drying w/ drought busted
But, it's a wild planet, not to be trusted..
Well..that really is not true
We know all to well what it's gonna do
And, still we ignore Earth's reality
As mo' trees fall everywhere we see
So the deserts grow, populations, too
As do wars, seeming never to be thru
But, if war's what drives our economies
More guns & bombs, is what we sees
Pretty sad...
