With no one telling them what to say
Late night TV has just gone away
The Writer's Union is out on strike
And, that, corporate CEO's don't like
Streaming, fewer shows, less pay
Stockholders & greed: 'merican way
Colbert w/ a reminder Monday night
W/o unions, be not a TGIF in sight
6 day weeks, long hours, no retirement
No health care, workers comp, old & bent
Actors make the bucks, are so cute
But, w/ no writers, they are quite mute
Same story, big wigs looking to screw
Everyone they can, means me & you
Unions, sure, issues in the past
But, w/o 'em, evil moves in fast
So, strike on! hold out for fair pay
They'll fold, they got nothing to say
Here, it's another day w/ omega block
Low, means cool & damp schlock
Ain't nothing to do but ride it out
Too soon, you'll hear, 'so hot' shout
Few quakes today, shaking in the 5's
Sun spotty, new flare soon arrives
