The chill is gone, the heat is here
Humidity's low, skies are clear
A summer-like scene for a few
Get out & enjoy is what ya do
But, be ready for bugs & a snake
It's Spring, everyone is on the make
Green is exploding in the trees
I'm seeing butterflies & bees
Venus still dazzles after dark
But, Mercury's time's getting stark
Seems we have a wildfire in Jersey
If like here, reason is easy to see
Not enough rain, rivers are low
Yet on we think we can grow
And grow and grow and grow
Cut all the trees & overpopulate
Millennia prove that ain't so great
If ya like it hot, or even not
Rapidly approaching, it's all we got
Today On Earth
Mossy trails are hanging on
For now
But, moss can do better
Without rain...than we can:(
