The air outside has a swampy feel

Time to push up the ole toadstool
Big or small, most have had a chew
Hopefully, after spores into view
Turtles, squirrels, lots of bugs
Are the 'shroom munching thugs
Stalled front just to our south
Has us living in humidity's mouth
Not really hot, just really muggy
And, amazingly, not too buggy
Not seeing many hit the windshield
Another warming sign revealed
Insect numbers seem to be dropping
Pollination help could be stopping
Then what are we going to eat
Fewer plants & less meat
