In more things all a'flutter, our star
Yet 93 million miles seems so far
But, not really, it's actually nearby
And, big explosions results are nigh
Soon, gonna zap our atmosphere
Mid-lat auroras if skies are clear
And, with Debby movin' rapidly on
Colorful skies could be coming along
For all the hype, not much rain here
But, to east, a little tornadic fear
Debby has done the east coast rampage
Moving on to the next, northeast stage
But, built your town on a flood plain
Maybe.. ya really shouldn't complain
And, voted for W & donnie, it's on you
Deny warming, give Earth the screw
But, Earth is here for the long haul
And has rules & a population wall
Thinkin' we've hit it, but won't accept
Planned parenting, a tough concept?
But, Natural Selection is always there
Live or die, it does not care
Prep the next generation to survive
Or they won't stay long alive
Like living in a seismic zone

Today felt Earth's subduction plan
