The fall equinox is still 8 days away but Va. is going to get an early taste as a cold front slides through later today. That front will bring a pretty good chance of showers but the real change will be temps in the upper 40's for lows and only the upper 60's for highs for Friday and Saturday. Sweater time!!! The clouds are already thickening and while today may warm into the low 80's that will be the last warm until the middle of next week.
Aftershocks here in the Central Va. Earthquake Zone have subsided; we hope that is a trend and not just a lull in the shaky action.
