The aftershocks gave us a break in central Va. last night but thunder from passing T'storms took up where the earthquakes left off early this morning. And, there will be more aftershocks, the earth is not settled. At least, a bonus from the rain showers was a rainbow as the sun snuck under the storm clouds.
More unsettled weather is on tap for the weekend and Katia has taken a more southerly turn and is being watched closely in the Atlantic. Soon to be named, Lee is getting itself together in the gulf and seems likely to bring copious rain to the deep South as it slowly works north into next week.
Earth continues to dominate the news, we continue to adapt.
