It's 4/20 today
National stoner holiday
Started as a time to meet
For bong hits, discreet
Among Cali stoner buds
Not old enough to buy suds
Now, it the stoner's big day
With much illegality now gone away
Much of stigma, stealth is gone
Positive change comes along
States realizing money to be made
Government got to be paid
Always back to greed
Private prisons, no need
If not for stupid pot arrests
Never been about what's best
About status quo & money
Challenge the rich, yea, that's funny
But, today is the day
To thumb a nose their way
Grow your own, trade with a friend
It's all better if the rules you bend
And, don't buy their chinese crap
That's what got us in this trap
