Oh No, Another Low!

You have to give this Low some credit, it is persistent(2 months from now it would likely be a hurricane)!! Still parked and spinning off the SE coast and today actually flinging moisture our way, not much but enough to make it a yucky day!! Not real cold but still yucky!! Nothing falling right now and about 0.1" is it but the yuck factor remains.

I failed to complement the wankers down under yesterday..Australia is deep, deep, deep under water this year with major flooding in regions that at this time last year were on fire. Still they mine, burn and export coal and deny the "in their own face" reality of a warming, wilding planet. Nice job, you are truly wankers!! Way to prove that even on the under populated, mostly water covered half of the planet you can still play a big, greedy role in making this once lovely planet uninhabitable for humans..and many other species. And, you're so thoughtful in letting the destruction begin at home, hope ya know how to swim, ya wankers!! Maybe save a little of that flood water for the next round of fires..or teach your out of control, imported rabbit population to lend a hand. The volcano 🌋 in Iceland (every day it seems to have a different name, all unpronounceable), after an 800 year break(or 600 years or 6,000, that seems to change daily, too), is still oozing and fountaining lava and studies of past flows seem to indicate eruptions last for about 100 years, kinda like a European war or US pandemic. New land added to the island, yes, global cooling, probably not but we'll see just how long it last and how wild it gets.

The blast predicted from the sun, seems to have missed or slowed or weakened lowering aurora chances up north. We'll see if it actually does clear later (that's the forecast) and the brightening moon and winter stars and Mars are visible tonight; if no clouds it will be bright.
