The high clouds ahead of the next system oozed in last night and kept temps from dropping too low, still down to 31.. Same cool air and high haze will make for a cool Tuesday. Clouds will continue to thicken as the system keeps heading east, arriving late Wednesday and into Thanksgiving morning before moving on leaving a warm, humid post-feast afternoon. Stay safe! (Although, millions seem insistent on traveling and carrying on the US super spreader tradition - this Thursday..supper spreader:)
Incredibly low quake numbers, only 23 worldwide, two in the low magnitude five range and both of those are deep sea fish events.
A huge cyclone (their hurricane) just hammered and trashed Somalia (not that a 1st world observer might recognize smashed in what is already a world enema site); the wild storming planet rages on, trying to spread the excess heat as we continue to dump CO2 into the atmosphere (it is actually down a little in this low travel year, but not much).
The sun's new cycle is stirring into more and more action; large spot (that would easily swallow Earth) is rotating into view, already spewing radio interfering energetic particles into space. Hope that it does not do so when pointed more Earthward - but, maybe that will kill the your virus, donny!
Another 179,000 cases in the USA yesterday! Death toll back up over 1,000 for the day. With 12.5 million total TrumpVirus cases, the US is far and away the world leader..so proud!! You sure made America great, donny.
The waxing, now gibbous moon slid 12 degrees closer to Mars overnight, Wednesday is the closest approach this moonth. Got a telescope? Apparently, there is a large dust storm on Mars, not to planet wide yet but showing signs of making the red planet a red dust ball. Saturn and Jupiter keep getting closer and closer in the SW ahead of their solstice rendezvous. Venus was still shining bright at 6:45 in this morning's dawn glow. Step out for a peak at the universe around you, if clouds allow, Today or Tonight On or Off Earth.
And, stay safe, be smart, mask on, stay apart!!
