Texas will have lost over 20,000 before today is over..all as Punk'n Head prez denies he lost and vows to do nothing to help with the viral mess he created. For the worst president ever, his damage surpassing W's nightmarish 8 years in less than 4, he seems intent of making things even worse on his way (forced?) out. We can only hang on as he continues to unload his wrath and blame, molesting the country as he does the flag or any woman he can get near. Hang on folks, the TrumpVirus is far from done!!
At least another day of sun, temps more November like, chilly start, cool day. Iota is now officially a tropical storm, by tomorrow likely to be a major hurricane headed for a second November thrashing of MesoAmerica. Forecast predict Iota will not be the last for this season; only 30 so far, why just break the record when you can destroy it. (Will 2021 be a repeat, seems the trend on a rapidly warming planet.) Seems we will have a frost/freeze mid-week, getting later and later.
Caught a glimpse of Venus, crazy bright, and Mercury and Spica through the few remaining leaves early this morning, no thin crescent visible. Maybe I saw the dot of a comet in Orion??? through binocs late night. Sunset yesterday was stunning!!
Caribbean plate still quaky, Indo-Australian plate, much of its entire boundary is on the move today joined by Meso and South American plates. 6 quakes today at or above magnitude 5 - 50 quakes on list, total. But, nothing major, so local issues only.
