Thursday & Another Rotation

Earth has carried on with another spin
Corona vs Humans, who will win?
Squirrels & birds in yard, do not care
Long as I put seed & suet out there
My big dog has no idea
Why we're staying clear
And, folks won't get near
Normal day! he's outta here
Did breakfast & little sleep in
Then off the see his girlfriend
Finally, sun is breaking through
The sky-bound morning dew
Warmer temps coming today
With hot air just a day away
Me, finishing up my second cup
After gobbling KrispyKreme up
(Tried a dunkin' not long ago
Threw it out, so gross, yo!)
Watching a Pileated, monster bird
With screaming cry that is heard
Every where in the woods
Alarmist? He's got the goods
Doves starting to glide on in
Skittish rascals with bobbin' chin
Yesterday's rain now off Maritimes
As I throw out some daily rhymes
New normal, folks starting to adjust
How to knock off stay-in rust
Going to driveway happy hour later
& Obrigado drive-up to help a waiter
We can visit, just gimme my space
Don't need breath in my face:)
Now seeing why America is best
Local hospitals with their own test
Easy now to see where the problem be
Entrenched slime in DeeCee
From there still no help coming
Supply shortage, hospitals bumming
Punk'n Head prez, what a dumb-ass
Set a date when wants this to pass
We still could use a leader
Still only got a tweeter!
Be safe, be smart
Just stay...apart
Today On Earth
🌋
18 volcanoes on this week's list
Mezo-America had been missed
But that isthmus is back
With volcanoes on attack
Fuego, Santa Maria & Pacaya
All cranking in Guatemala
Popo spewing again in Mexico
Steady as aftershocks in Puerto Rico
Nevado del Ruiz & Reventador
That's Colombia & Ecuador
Want volcanoes, still place to be
Is Indonesia & PNG
Or Kamchatka & Japan
Or in Alaska's Isles Aleutian
Most volcano locations, quakes, too
Rock moving, as heat pushes through
Marianna trench getting deeper
Plate subduction, always a creeper
Kamchatka; big aftershocks today
Surprise, Algeria with big sway
Mentone TX just took 4.7 hit
Make you think about fracking a bit
But, really in middle of no where
Rest of Texas unlikely to care..
Out in space, if I ever see night sky
Will be looking for comet flying by
Comet ATLAS above Dipper & N. Star
Need tele or binocs so far
But, it'll keep heading to the sun
Could be some late spring fun
Will it brighten or fall apart
Never sure what's in a comet's heart
Like coronaV, time will tell
Bright or fade, sick or well
Happy Thirstday
Today On Earth
