March continues the lamb-like start
Seems the planet has a warming heart
With high haze beginning to arrive
Ahead of moisture that will strive
To dampen the place later today
We'll see how long that'll stay
Could be wet golf Thursday
If rain makes the southern play
For now, Gold Finches will graze
Glomming, before breeding phase
Only 18 quakes worldwide
That is a light day of rock slide
Croatia got a boom & shake yesterday
When a fireball/meteor came that way
With war, virus & lies the news
Perhaps Earthlings should choose
To consider threats from space
Since we share this planet place
Most earthlings unaware
Most don't really care
Too busy checking their phone
But, in space, are we alone
If not, then Earth quite a prize
Water, warm, a pleasant surprise
To aliens looking to colonize
May be too late for us to realize
How nice we had it here
A thought: treat our world more dear!
What ain't a surprise
Dems dropping like flies
Prez still telling lies
Killer virus loose in the skies
Fighting still in middle East
Fat Americans at supersize feast
Still are fringes, behind the scene
Folks working on things not mean
Looking for solutions
Cutting back on pollutions
Turning trash
Into cash
Ways to produce & use less
Ways to clean up our mess
It's not to late
To cut back on the hate
Not let men dominate
Have fewer humans germinate
Do what you can
Add a smile to your plan
Get out & walk around
Get your feet on the ground
Might notice what a fine place
Earth is
Might put a smile on your face
And, those are contagious
Wouldn't that be outrageous
Smiles everywhere!
