It's amazing how very little rain
It takes to turn moss green, again
Barely a 1/10th" and it's lush
Yesterday, step on it and crush
Not much longer to see the trails
Through still leaf-less tree veils
Hints of buds here & there
They are coming, that is clear
Seasons moving up by weeks
Southern species on northward seeks
Cool weather lives on recede
With planet warming on proceed
Birds glomming on seed & suet
Last evening, peepers going to it
Spring, everything is getting busy
Except humans, feeling dizzy
Virus spread rages on
Federal leadership gone
Finally, someone calling prez out
"Need a test, just give a shout"
Not gonna happen, Doc cries out
We aren't ready, got no leader
Just fat, Punk'n head tweeter
He looks scared, perhaps infected
That would be happiness perfected
This administration is a virus
Infecting, harming everyone of us
Don't like to wish anyone harm
But, if threatened we'll try to disarm
Sic Semper Tyrannus
Applies right now to us
Wicked rulers need to go
First, our ugly US show
Be a good place to start
Today On Earth
Gonna be toasty here today
Then minor chill comes our way
Perhaps little more rain, be nice
'Bout an inch would suffice
As usual, we just don't know
Which way Earth will go
Right now, not much quaking
But, that's just planet faking
A little overdue for a big shake
Somewhere..rock will slip, break
Waning gibbous moon on shrink
Will give morning planets a blink
Next week, first Jupiter & Mars
Those three, St Patty's day stars
Then on toward Saturn, next morn
Next week, I'll do another warn
Maybe
We'll see
Be safe, don't get too close
Today On Earth
