Mild Before Rain Gets Wild!

Sitting outside for today's blog
Guarded by big ole brown dog
Birds not happy, lot of squawking
Thinking the Breyer dog is stalking
He's just hanging our, eating their seed
That Gold finches raked out, on they plead
Even with clouds, it's almost 70
No hint of winter to see
But, change is not far away
Early morning shower showing the way
Massive moisture glob just to the west
Gonna give us the big rain test
From tomorrow 'til late Friday
How much will come our way
Likely at least an inch, maybe 3
Then Saturday, snowflakes we could see
But, winter seems mostly at bay
The new global warming way!
Other issues around the globe
Taal volcano, earthquake treasure trove
200+ quakes just yesterday
When is big eruption coming their way?
Earth is in no hurry, got billions of years
But, humans; daily concerns & fears
Will it blow? another big shake?
With Earth, just ain't no fake
Humans, deny, ignore & blame
Earth don't care, just more of the same
So, if it's warm, get out and enjoy
Cuz, winter ain't gone, just being coy
Tomorrow cool with big rain
You've been warned, don't complain

No surprise quake in VA today, yet
Still lots in Puerto Rico, you bet
Over half the quakes on the list
Another mag. 5, rocks getting a twist
Several quakes down New Zealand way
White Island still more to say
Eruption there has calmed, not done
Still hot with ash blocking sun
Stay away
Today
On Earth

Our nearby star is sunspot free
And, Venus still so easy to see
Gibbous moon, still in Taurus, then Cancer
Everyday a 12 degree sky dancer
Last night big halo around moon
Warning: rain coming soon
Got clear skies, view of the west
Another week with Mercury at its best
Morning planet show all month long
Mars to rival, Antares, I'm movin' on
Jupiter in Sagittarius, left of teapot
Saturn up just before sun gets hot
Next to Venus, Sirius rules the night
But, many winter stars shine bright
If your skies are cloud free
Go out and have a look see
Tonight On Earth

Salamanders out in winter, CRAZY!
