Just an average day on shaky world

While Chinese virus continues spread
Over 1500, we know of, dead
Way less than from guns, flu & heroin
But, we'll just ignore that, again

So, it's only nasty stories they tell

Setting up next big locust swarm
Or fire ants or killer bees
Perhaps a monster epidemic of fleas
Real issue continues: too many humans
All with their hands out, I am assumin'
I've got a right, we hear them all say

Everything on Earth, trying to survive
Only real right, try & stay alive
Nothing is fair, nobody owes you
Adapt or migrate is all you can do
One day soon, all alive will be gone
Let's hope we leave a few to carry on
For every being, it's always parent's fault

Did mom lay her eggs in a good spot?
Were they dug up, was it too hot?
Did seed end up on soil or on rock?
Did both parents come from good stock?
Every generation has a new test
Is your genetic combo the best?
Were you planned by a mom & a dad?
Or mistake by 'ho & sperm donor cad?
Too many unplanned by parents that blame
Others for their issues, showing no shame
Still Earth does not seem to care
What we think, about what is "fair"
Planet's amazing, that we do know
But, a little more respect we better show
We've learned so much about our home
But, we're running out of room to roam
Issue: knowledge vs. superstition
Way too slow to make transition
Need to give old male gods the boot
With evil cravings for power & loot
Science & knowledge are the way
To sustain life on Earth today
Ladies, continue to take the lead
Women in charge, planetary need
With men, it's power, greed & war
We need a different plan, for sure
