Cool Here, Hot There, 1/4 Moon Everywhere!!

The Moon will reach first quarter, 90 degrees to Earth and sun and will be lovely this evening having cleared Leo and sliding into Virgo, bright Spica below and left. Another cool evening here on the east coast to enjoy that view. Rest of the country is on fire or it just feels like it; massive heat wave cooking the Plains and the West; don't think there is much change for them although some of that heat will drift this way over the weekend.
Low in the Bay of Campeche has still not spun up to storm status but that seems very likely, very soon and after coming ashore somewhere on the US Gulf coast will likely bring us rain, still needed, on Monday...forecasts always change...we'll see.
Very quiet quake day, only 18 outside of US and biggest shake is only mag. 5.
21 volcanoes on the list (and that's with none in Guatemala and no Etna or S. American blasters and, I know that is not right). Indonesia still rules list, Philippines has two with Taal sickening locals with gas emissions, shaky, a blast coming..soon..?? Iceland's lava machine has kicked it up again, increasing activity rather than slowing. St. Vincent still in a lull but not ready for tourists or tours, still gassy. Costa Rica's Turrialba back on the list. Russia, Japan also with usual suspects. Stay clear of them all!!
TrumpVirus deaths; 369 yesterday with no reports from Fla and Ohio..so we know it's higher.
Time to get out and track down a dog then another lunch, friend yesterday, family today. If you're on the east coast, get out and enjoy, out west, hang on and welcome to Global Warming, Today on Earth.
Rather see him in the woods but at least he wasn't in my garden..
