Rain Break, Meteor Shower!

Today a slight clearing between rains
I can almost see the sun again
There's more rain lurking to the west
Still drought relief, far from a pest
And, then two lovely days
Warmer with clouds swept away
For early risers, take a peak outside
Might see a long streak slide
Across the morning sky
An Orionid meteor cruising by
Dust left by Halley's comet 33 years ago
Moving fast, air crash, friction, a glow
Orion the Hunter will be high overhead
Check it, if before dawn you're outta bed
But, not tomorrow
Clouds, rain, meteor blocking sorrow
Quarter moon earlier today
🌗
Easiest to see in early light of day
But, not tomorrow
Clouds, rain, moon blocking sorrow
And, solar minimum so no sunspots
Likely only thing on the sun, a dot
As Mercury crosses sun, 11 November
I've have more, to help you remember..
If you live along our northern border
Northern lights from sun's disorder
Solar wind storm later this week
Southernly Auroras, bit of a freak

Alaska got the shakes today
And, Vanuatu with big 6.4 sway
But, very deep so no big wave
5.4 in Iran, shaky Earth won't behave
Sun is back, clouds are thinning
Dog is snoring, I am grinning
What a good dog, the Breyer D
Curled up cute as can be
Time to do finally party clean
So, no more trash is seen
Your week, mix of rain & sun
Either way get our for some fun
Today On Earth
