Meanwhile, Earth is spinning, problems abound
Overpopulation, pollution, ice melting down
5.9 quake gave Chile a shake
Mid-Atlantic ridge, lava trying to break
'Bout usual shaking all around rim
And, we keep dumping plastic into the swim
Pay more for bottled water than for gas
Pretty clear lotta folks got heads up their ass
Ignore the problems, refuse to "believe"
Truth on phone, yet science tries to deceive
Science tests, proves or disproves
Reality: gravity gives planets their moves
Reality: we're all alive right now, right here
After life; ZERO proof of anything is clear
So, let's focus on this really cool thing
We're alive on a planet that's truly amazing
We're not getting off, we're all gonna die
Maybe working together we should all try
To improve these lives that we have
Maybe some sense & a little kindness salve
One thing certain, that ain't coming from DC
Punk'n Head prez only concern: me, me, me
I suggest, out on Earth take a walk

In VA, it's cloudy & cool with a Fall feel
Outside it's lovely, that's where it's all real
Clouds here blocked Moon/Saturn show
Until Tuesday, clouds may not go
Dreaming of rain tomorrow, even a bit
We'd still need lots to give drought a hit
I'm heading out with big ole brown dog
Doing our daily woods tromping slog
Go on, get up and out for awhile
Bet to your face, soon a smile
And, we all need more of those
Smiles put sadness in repose
Today & Everyday On Earth
