A Fall Preview + Lotta Hurricanes

Cool, dry, high pressure air
Has it feeling chilly out there
Brrrr, might need to add a layer
'Til the sun is little more of a player
But, while cool has gotten way down south
Tropics still roaring with a stormy mouth
Imeda is stalled, cranking out the rain
So, SE Texas & Louisiana remain
Mostly flooded & under duress
It's not Harvey but still a mess
Humberto's headed to the UK
Jerry's still growing but forecast to stay
Out in Atlantic, big ole fish storm
While in E. Pacific, 3 cyclones swarm
Lorena, Mario & Kiko slurping up heat
Lorena headed for Baja meet & greet
Kiko may be headed Hawaii's way
Least no eruptions blasting there today
But, 19 others on volcano list
Want volcanoes? Indonesia; can't miss
6 this week on that archipelago
To see 3, central Chile you could go
Etna still blasting rocks in Italy
Pacaya leaving Guatemalans uneasy
4, the usual for Kamchatka, Japan: two
Ubinas still blasting in southern Peru
Aleutian's Shishaldin spewing out the lava
But, week's winner, as usual: JAVA
Also two 6+ quakes north of there today
But, seems no tsunami headed their way
4.5 in Dominican Republic, just offshore
Damage? Waves? I'm am unsure
Just more shifting and shaking
On a chunky planet, inside still baking
And, that heat just wants to get out
Be more quakes & volcanoes: No Doubt!
And, hurricanes as the season goes on
Got to keep moving excess heat along
And, hey kids, go on & skip school
Soon enough this planet you'll rule
And, it's a nightmare we're leaving you
So, resist, protest, battle on through!!
Waning moon nearing Aldebaran
To check it out, get up before dawn
Jupiter & Saturn still rule evening sky
With Scorpio's red giant Antares nearby
Summer Triangle in NE, high overhead
Milky Way, too.. perhaps a check before bed
Major problems & idiots we need to replace
But, Earth is still an amazing place
Get out and enjoy the loveliness
Today On Earth

How about a little haiku..

Every time prez
Speaks, we are all more aware
He just ain't quite right
