Today's weather map shows a wedge of cold air
Coming down the east coast, stuck right here
With the forecast predicting rapid change
But, we know wild swings aren't really strange
And, neither are aftershocks up Alaska way
Like a boat at Anchorage, the Earth will sway
Lots of quakes in the Fiji region today
With some movements keeping Chile in play
There is one thing that isn't going to change
The plates of our planet will shift and rearrange
Shifting ground
Spinning around
One day hot
The next, not
And, my wandering dog
Sniffin' in sun or fog
We've reached the last month of the year
Often a month with a peaking of cheer
Get out and enjoy what comes your way
