Land Day #21!!

Twas the week of the solstice

And all though the wood

Something seemed quite amiss

The sun was back and feeling quite good

Today dawned all shiny and bright 

With a warm southern wind

And no rain or snow in sight

Looking like a good day to spend

Outside!

On the land I purchased 21 years ago

Today!

21 years watching the trees a-growing

And (certainly this year) the water a-flowing

A dream back then, now it's a home

Snug in my tire house, moss paths to roam

With a second brown dog wandering free

This one wild and hard headed as can be

And, he needs to get out very soon

Well before moon rise this afternoon

An average quake day but a Nevada explosion?

Likely a mining blast stirring a commotion

So off we go while the wild leaves do fly

Hoping the sun will scour the haze from the sky

But, hear me exclaim as I head out sight

Get up and our for a walk, alright?!
