When the calls are easy
Mild temps, a little breezy

Big snow and lives in tatters

But, we're at 6" and snow's still falling
On the road, any drivers best be crawling
There'll be no school for days
Slowing the xmas shopping craze
Snow loving teachers are all grinning
A pre-xmas xmas break: Winning!!
I'm sitting pretty, retired with beer
Enjoying the Holladay seasonal cheer
In quake news Taiwan and Japan
Had some big shakes again
While off Vancouver Isle this morning
A 5.4 shake, a little subduction warning
And, still Alaskan shudders with aftershocks
I need to go out replenish bird feed stocks
While a goofy male cardinal bang the glass
Ok now, at 6am a pain (pane) in the ass
If you are deep in a snow day, enjoy!
Snug inside or out romping with joy
Only so many snow days till death from birth
