After a day of sun & semi-warm
Clouds & cold, more January norm
Another issue when the light's flat
Too many birds hit my window..splat
Large brown dog knows the sound
Now laying at door, for a 2nd round
Already grabbed & eaten one today
He's pouting, I wait for bird to fly away
Stuck in the 30's w/ bit of a breeze
Hint of sun, not even a tease
W. coast deluge rages on..
Least..maybe drought is gone
Dixie picking up from tornado blast
Future sure not looking like the past
Sun covered in spots & flaring
Much like Earth, it ain't caring
No quake issues again, today
And, suddenly all birds fly away
See no hawk or other reason why
When ya gotta go, be nice to just fly
GOP enraged about when Joe knew
But, not a bit concerned about a coup
6 year old shooter, seems can't arrest
Nor mom, who's obviously not the best
Now..it seems school itself to blame
Warned but faulty search the claim
Until we admit: always parent's fault
Worldwide craziness will not halt!!
Schools & society have some rules
But, get blamed when ignored by fools
Betting Idaho killer some how offended
By victims & his twisted brain defended
The offense...justified the attack

Waaay too many that should not breed
Have left planet w/ the human weed
Plunder Earth, throw waste away
Pretend landfill means not in play
It's still waste & it's still here
Plastic everywhere makes that clear
Earth will clean it up..in due time
Once it's rid of the human slime
OR
We could reduce, reuse & recycle
Live near work, walk or bicycle
Live better, healthier..be less fat
But, hey..ain't no money in that
Easy to see w/ budget for schools
Against money spent on war tools
Follow the money & you'll see
Cancerous growth is insanity..

Sunset over the wood pile
Last peek at the sun...
2nd little bird..
Recovered & flew away
Breyer bummed...
