Clouds are gone, but cold's in place
A boreal wind smacking ya in the face
But, here inside the tirehouse, toasty
Big ole sun w/ the heating, mostly
Wildcard weekend is 1/3 thru
W/ a minor surprise or two
Birds are glomming on sunflower seed
Woodpeckers on suet, the fat they need
Western USA still w/ storm scene today
More Pacific storms headed their way
Fire baked soil, more pottery than clay
Today's quake winner is Vanuatu
None too big but quite a few
Sun w/ major spots, took a peek
Eclipse shades...none seen in my seek
But..they are there & blasting away
CME's likely putting auroras in play
Birds still hitting into the window
Last to hit..least away it did go
No dog treat..which is good
But, he's out in the neighborhood
Time to go track him down..
