Places to go, things to do, Earth spins on even as I pay no attention..so a quick check around the world finds it still quaking; 5.9 on the eastern edge of the Scotia plate but only birds and penguins noticed. Otherwise, pretty average shifting and shaking with little damage done.
3 Aleutian volcanoes are now belching and steaming but with only bears and their buddies in the areas, no issues at this point in time; polar flights will be detouring.
Another cool start in Va. but warming more than the loveliness early in the week and now clouds are moving in with a wet Saturday coming, especially SE Va. Where the rain is really needed, the piedmont and Valley, not much coming. Also, no rain coming to help firefighters out west or in Greece & Turkey; on a rapidly warming world of extremes, drought with fires or deluges with floods have become the new "average".
Sun still quiet, Perseid meteors raining down through our protective atmosphere; nice visuals, no harm done. No meteors seen here, clouds, Today On Earth.
Hard to believe this is the bathroom in a restaurant/bar; Clementines..
