Greetings From the Sunshine State

Had to do it, had to go

Needed a break, from snow

And, rain and cold and gloom

So, in the car with dog, zoom

Got a tour of Tallahassee 

Not a bad place to be

But, right now, dog no doubt

He is lying and looking out

Time for a walk...

America mostly even keel
Sure, there's gun violence today
But, that's not going to go away
Lots of quakes where Indo-Australian plate
And Pacific slab are trying to mate
South America west coast is rockin', too
Chickasha, OK, shaking a two-steppin' shoe
Puerto Rican trench still going down
Lots of quakes off San Juan town
Look for tonight
To be rather bright
February Full Moon, a sight
In Florida warmth, I'll be out alright
It's the Super Snow Moon 
At perigee, close to Earth, view: swoon!!

Early risers still have quite the show
Saturn, Venus, Jupiter almost is a row
Still your planet, still spinning fast
Today's setting, soon will be past
And, tomorrow anew, more change
How's your location been rearranged
Only know if you go out and look
Put down your phone, mark that book
