High Vs. Low= Wind

High to north, Low off coast, stuck

If you like cool & wind, you're in luck

Brilliant blue skies thru waving trees

Getting a workout in the strong breeze

Middle of US, stuck, too; in a heat wave

Farther west, drought, water a tough save

'Course, build huge cities in the desert

At some point ya gonna suffer the hurt

Reservoir quickly going dry

Maybe no lush lawns, give it a try

It was a desert before we got there

Never enough water for 10 mil to share

Stole it from valleys upstream

Now a crash to endless water dream..

We humans are clever, but often not smart

Think from Earth we can stay apart

But, we're just another creature

Evolving w/ a big brain feature

Has worked well, for a time

Problems: growth, greed & slime

Growth & more growth not the answer

Same bad game plan as cancer...

Earth's plates continue to shift

We now know, continents do drift

Every quake, another bit of adjustment

Pacific shrinking is our big hint

Caribbean plate still getting squeeze

But, 4.3 off Haiti, just a tease

Argentina w/ action & off PNG

Little above normal action we see

Sun still sending solar wind our way

But, dark Antarctica to see auroras play

TrumpVirus still knocking 'em dead

Unvaxed mo-rons still fueling the spread

When will next killer variant arrive?

Living in denial, can we survive?

Heat there, cool here

Only change, very clear

Today, Every Day, On Earth
