The Orionids: Halley's Comet Meteor Show!

Pre-dawn on a moonless Thursday
Dust from Halley's comet, in our way!
Throw in bright stars of winter overhead
Might be a reason for an early outta bed
Bright bonus features will be nearby
Mars, Jupiter, Regulus dazzle the sky
Meteors 'may' come out of Betelgeuse
Or just fly about anywhere in space
Orion's right shoulder, red super-giant star
Time til super nova..may not be far
Not a prediction, but this we know
One day that baby gonna blow
💣🌟💣
Eric Apple's take on a
Red Super Giant
Gotta love the approaching meteor!

In the daylight hours, the weather's fine
As that light fades, moon will shine
Waxing gibbous bouncing the sun
Sounds like evening woods walk fun
Every quake today, on a boundary
Nothing to cause anyone to flee
Just a reminder, Earth's in charge
And, maybe we shouldn't live so large
Low off the coast, surf'll be rough
Good reminder of seas rising stuff
😱
Lil vlady & dementia donnie, too, induce
Many to say, well, what's the use!!
So, how 'bout this lil note
Get your ass out and VOTE!
While we still can, and 'tis in doubt
Do it! Let's vote the assholes OUT!
🗳🗳🗳
It's Hump Day time to go
Let your kindness, not hate show!
Today On Earth
