Been thinking, while since seen a bear
Still, in the woods, try and be aware
Know to be careful what you wish for
Not a thought when I went out the door
My quick walk soon got a surprise
Crossed the creek, a noise, then my eyes
Saw not a deer but a small black bear
I spoke to him, he didn't seem to care:)
First I've ever seen out on a walk
Views at the house, previous bear talk
On my roof, at the feeders, paws on glass
Poop on the walk..was hard to pass
In the woods, and I went on, different..
Then 2 quail exploded, nerves now bent
Feeders still here, seems, no night visit
Glad BooBoo moved on, no feeder hit
But, we'll have to see
