The sun was out, the air was cold
Fresh fallen & man-made, skiing gold
Winds were light, group was fun
On we slid, run after run..after run
Til my feet did the ski boot scream
Then I ended the days's ski dream
Saw old friends, made some new
It's skiing, it's what ya do!!

Round the world, on bigger mountains
Big ole quake - 7.1- deaths they countin'
High on the Tibetan Plateau
With Mt. Everest clearly in view
Friction gave way, foot wall slid down
To build tall mountains, quakes abound
Death count 126, likely to rise
Elsewhere, no big quake surprise
Sun spots still with the flares
But, CME's will out star share
Plenty still digging out from snow
Most no school, so to skiing they go
Another storm. later this week
No surprise, Earth going freak
Back tomorrow for another day
Skiing sure winter way to play

Drifting toward Jupiter!!
