The Drought Buster...??

With over an inch more, overnight

Saying drought, may not be right

No standing puddles, all slurped in

It's groundwater, with the win

CO fire rubble, white with snow

While in Dixie, another tornado

We get one more day of warm

Then sudden cold & a snow storm?

We will see, Earth continues wild

Knew it was going, New Year's mild

No monster quakes, local concerns

There will be, as the world turns

Got a quick peak at Venus last night

Jupiter & Saturn, also in sight

No Mercury, it's not that bright

But, gonna sneak up in height

But, Venus dropping, dropping fast

Which day's sighting'll be the last

By mid-month it's the Morning Star

With red Mars off to right, not far

Better by month's end, w/ the moon

But, in the evening, gotta look soon

Very low

In twilight glow

Now...time to go
