McGuire..Term Needs to Expire
I recall a letter, some time last year
Writer said, he’s soon make it clear
About all the good deeds done
Yet still, I’ve heard or know of none
To aid our district by Delegate McGuire
Perhaps it’s time for his term to expire
As far as I know, his only real deal
Is that he once was a Navy Seal
Thanks for your service, that was great
But, for service as a delegate, we still wait
You continue to vote against public schools
Think women should live by different rules
And, the one thing we all need and demand
From you, we hear nothing on broadband
Big challenges and changes already here
But your solutions or plans remain unclear
Got lots of big donors from out of state
But, local Republicans, refused to nominate
Why run for office, then get nothing done
We’ve a much better choice in this election
Blakely Lockhart, has stepped up to the plate
To deal with the many issues that won’t wait
As one party seems content just to stall
The other is working to help us all
And while I voted for Reagan, back in the day
To vote Republican now, there ain’t no way
Today, it’s fear and hate, without shame
Lies and denial and so quick to blame
Keeping the rich rich, seems their only plan
Adrift, deep in Da Nile, today’s Republican
Future solutions don’t lie in the past
Old ideas and ways never meant to last
Want your grandkid’s grandkids to even exist
Then our tired, old ways cannot persist
Yea, I’m pretty old but know what I’m gonna do
I’m voting for Blakely Lockhart on November 2
