After an overnight low that was near the average high temperature, Tuesday will only get warmer before a more November-like turn tomorrow and Thursday. A powerful cold front is slowly working our way bringing much cooler temps for late week. Rain chances increase dramatically tonight, tomorrow and even early into Thursday before the clearing and new batch of cool air.
Leafs continue to fly, helped by the wild SW wind ahead of the front and trees are suddenly mostly bare; the oaks persist in hanging onto their leaves as do some low, young beeches. The view through the forest has opened up and the aftershocks are way down and much weaker.
A light shower has just wet things. There's lots more coming.
Holy Guacamole it's cold outside. You weren't kidding when you said a powerful cold front. I read there was snow coming down in Blacksburg for the game tonight. I'm glad I'm not there. :)
